The topic of mental health has had a strong effect on my life. I’ve seen friends and family suffer from mental health issues and it’s a topic that isn’t discussed as much as other diseases such as cancer or heart disease. I created a series of projects based on anxiety, PTSD, depression, etc. Each sculpture depicts how each disorder may make a person feel. I hope to create awareness on how people living with these diseases are truly feeling inside.
